According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

Jan. 28

Theft: At 3:11 a.m., Megan Stroup reported that unknown persons stole her daughter’s prescription medication from her residence. A theft report was completed.

Drug Abuse Instrument/Drug Paraphernalia: At 10:11 a.m., officers arrested Martin Hoagland on an outstanding warrant. During a search incident to the arrest, drug paraphernalia was located. Hoagland was charged accordingly.

Theft: At 1:26 p.m., officers responded to Family Dollar in reference to a shoplifting complaint. Officers made contact with the complainant, who advised that Caleb Kepler stole items and departed. Kepler was not located and the complainant was unsure exactly what was stolen. A report was completed.

Disorderly Conduct/Drug Paraphernalia/Underage Possession of Tobacco/Possession of Drugs: At 10:07 p.m., officers responded to a residence to assist a parent with their 17-year-old runaway daughter. The juvenile became disorderly and was arrested. She was in possession of drug paraphernalia, cigarettes and suspected narcotics. She was charged and transported to Juvenile Detention Center. A drug possession charge is pending.
