According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

Jan. 11

Domestic Violence/Inducing Panic: At 7:30 a.m., officers responded to a residence in reference to domestic violence. Officers made contact with a woman who advised that she was assaulted by Justin Humphrey, who departed prior to officers’ arrival. She said that he made statements that he was going to harm himself and that he had a firearm during the assault. Humphrey departed without the firearm. He was located in the area, and was arrested and charged.

Possession of Drugs/Drug Abuse Instrument/Drug Paraphernalia: At 9:15 p.m., officers stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. During the traffic stop, it was verified that the license plates were fictitious and the driver did not have a license. During a vehicle inventory, drugs and drug paraphernalia were located where the rear passenger was sitting. The rear passenger, identified as Paul B. Houser III, advised that the drugs and drug paraphernalia belonged to him. Houser was arrested and charged.

Jan. 10

Theft: At 11:35 a.m., Rebecca Stone reported that unknown persons gained access to her business bank account and made unauthorized transactions in different states over the past month. A theft report was completed.
