According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

Jan. 9

Possession of Drug Abuse Instrument/Drug Paraphernalia: At 10:37 a.m., officers observed Lasasha Ruggles near Washington Municipal Court who had an active warrant for her arrest. Before officers confirmed the warrant, she fled to a nearby business where she was located. She was arrested and found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia.

Domestic Violence by Threats: At 7:23 p.m., a woman reported that while at Eyman Park, Scottie Curtis threatened physical harm to her. The threats were witnessed and Curtis was located and arrested.

Obstructing Official Business/Obstructing Justice/Curfew: At 11:52 p.m., officers made contact with Dwayne Fox and observed a juvenile male trying to hide behind him. Once the officers exited their vehicle, the juvenile fled on foot. After a short foot pursuit, the juvenile was apprehended and was found to be a runaway from another county. Fox was also charged due to assisting the juvenile, who was a runaway offender.
