According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

Jan. 7

Theft: At 1:39 a.m., Amanda Warner reported that while shopping at Walmart, she set her cell phone on the self-checkout register. She walked to her vehicle and realized that she forgot the cell phone and returned to discover that the phone was stolen. The investigation is ongoing. The suspect has been identified and charges are pending.

Jan. 6

Intoxicated Person: At 2:36 p.m., officers responded to the 300 block of South North Street in reference to an intoxicated person. Officers arrived and located a male stumbling and highly intoxicated. The male was identified as Christian Thomas. He was subsequently arrested for disorderly conduct.
