According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

Jan. 4

Traffic Stop/Drugs: At 1:01 a.m. while on patrol, an officer stopped a vehicle for traffic violations. During the stop, methamphetamine, black tar heroin, needles and drug paraphernalia were located. Jason Massiatte and Shanda Jones were arrested for trafficking in methamphetamine, trafficking in heroin, possession of drug abuse instruments and drug paraphernalia.

Traffic Stop/Drug Paraphernalia: At 7:43 p.m. while on patrol, an officer stopped a vehicle for traffic violations. During the stop, drug paraphernalia was located. Heather Shelpman and Rex Jones were arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

Jan. 3

Traffic Stop/Wanted Person: At 2:28 a.m. while on patrol, an officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. During the stop, two wanted persons were located in the vehicle. Trevor Putney was arrested on an outstanding warrant. Kayla Valentine was arrested on an outstanding warrant and for possession of a drug abuse instrument. Additionally, Paul Houser III was arrested for possession of drug abuse instrument, drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana and possession of a controlled substance felony.

Criminal Damaging: At 10:18 a.m., an employee of Rotech Health Care, located at 1145 E. Temple St., reported damage to a company vehicle.

Theft: At 11:21 a.m., Paula Garrison reported that while at 824 N. North St., an unknown person entered her unlocked vehicle and removed property.

Drugs: At 12:35 p.m., officers were called to investigate a harassment complaint at 100 Washington Square (Ohio Thrift). During the investigation, officers arrested William Dillon for possession of drug abuse instruments and drug paraphernalia.

Theft: At 10:14 p.m., Jimmy Estle reported that an unknown person(s) stole a firearm from his residence at 713 N. North St.

Jan. 2

Underage Alcohol Consumption/Marijuana Drug Paraphernalia: At 12:52 a.m., officers responded to Walmart in reference to reckless drivers on the lot. Officers made contact with the complainant, who advised that the male from one of the vehicles was inside the store. Contact was made with 18-year-old Devin Slagle, who was intoxicated and in possession of drug paraphernalia. He was arrested and charged.
