According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

Dec. 15

Disorderly Conduct: At 3:01 p.m., officers observed two females in an argument in front of the police department. While investigating the disturbance, one of the females, identified as Angel Navarette, continued to be disorderly and was intoxicated. After multiple disorderly conduct warnings, she continued to be disorderly and was arrested.

Dec. 14

Possession of a Drug Abuse Instrument: At 6:42 p.m., officers stopped a vehicle with Amber Robinson as a passenger. She had an Adult Protective Authority warrant for her arrest. Robinson was arrested and was found to be in possession of multiple used hypodermic needles.

Obstructing Official Business: At 8:36 p.m., officers observed James Trisdale on the porch of a residence. Trisdale had an active bench warrant for his arrest, and as officers approached him he fled into the residence when told to stop. Trisdale was apprehended a short time later and charged accordingly.

Disorderly Conduct: At 9:36 p.m. while officers were investigating a disturbance complaint, Scott Yerian, who was intoxicated, became belligerent and continued to curse and yell at officers and other citizens. After given a warning for disorderly conduct, he continued, at which time he was arrested and charged.

Dec. 13

Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle: At 1:38 a.m., Barton Temple reported that his vehicle was taken by his roommate without permission. A report was completed and he was referred to the city solicitor for possible charges.

O.V.I./Possession of Drugs/Drug Paraphernalia: At 10:05 a.m., officers responded to the area of West Court Street and Highland Avenue in reference to a suspected drunk driver who just caused an accident. Officers stopped the vehicle, driven by George Pepper, who was under the influence. Pepper was arrested for operating a vehicle intoxicated, and officers located suspected narcotics and drug paraphernalia in his vehicle. The drug charges are pending.

Breaking & Entering: At 1:16 p.m., Jenny Vanslyke reported that sometime overnight, unknown persons cut the lock off of her storage unit and stole property inside. A report was completed and an investigation began.

Breaking & Entering/Theft: At 1:37 p.m., Robert Gould reported that sometime over the past few days, unknown persons entered a residence that he is currently renovating and stole tools. He also reported that tools were stolen out of the detached garage. A report was completed and an investigation began.

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia: At 7:58 p.m., officers stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. It was determined that the driver, Dena Rumer, had a suspended driver’s license and had just left a known drug location. The K-9 officer, “Edo,” was utilized to perform a fresh air sniff and positively indicated on the vehicle. During a search, drug paraphernalia was located. Rumer was arrested and charged.

Obstructing Official Business/Criminal Trespassing: At 11:38 p.m., officers observed a vehicle commit a traffic violation and prior to stopping the vehicle, it pulled into a driveway. The vehicle was bearing a Michigan license plate that was fictitious. The vehicle then departed the driveway and pulled into another driveway as the officers approached. The driver fled on foot and was located a few blocks away. He was identified as Bradley Hamilton from Michigan, who was arrested and charged.
