According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

Dec. 11

Drug Abuse Instrument: At 5:20 p.m., officers responded to Family Farm and Home in reference to a suspicious male. Officers made contact with the male, identified as James Trisdale. Trisdale was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia, and was charged with the offense.

Theft: At 6:54 p.m., officers responded to Family Dollar in reference to a shoplifting complaint. Officers made contact with the complainant, who advised that an unknown male stole miscellaneous clothing and departed. A theft report was completed.

Theft: At 11:10 p.m., officers responded to UDF (United Dairy Farmers) in reference to a shoplifting complaint. Officers made contact with the complainant, who advised that a known female and unknown male stole two containers of ice cream and departed. Charges are pending once video surveillance is obtained. A theft report was completed.
