According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

Dec. 5

Theft/Possession of Drugs/Criminal Trespassing: At 1:03 a.m., officers responded to Walmart in reference to a shoplifting complaint. The complainant advised that the offender had not left the store. Officers made contact with Marilyn Elliott as she was exiting the store. She was in possession of stolen merchandise and narcotics. She had previously been banned from Walmart for shoplifting. Elliott was arrested and charged.

Theft: At 2:13 p.m., officers responded to Walmart in reference to a shoplifting complaint. Officers made contact with the Loss Prevention employee and the offender, Heather Hubbell. Hubbell stole merchandise from the store and was stopped by loss prevention as she exited. She was arrested and charged.

Assault: At 5:35 p.m., Bret Knisley reported that he got into an argument with his neighbor, Virgil Martin. During the argument, Knisley advised that Martin assaulted him. Knisley was referred to the city solicitor for possible charges.
