Scouts host flag retirement

More than 60 people attended a flag-retirement ceremony at the First Presbyterian Church on Nov. 19. The ceremony honored the US flag and showed proper respect for worn and faded flags. Groups participating include Girl Scout Troops 1929 and 2937; Scouts BSA Cub Scout Pack 112 and Troop 112, along with the Washington Fire Department.
