According to reports, the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office responded to the following calls:

FEB. 7

TRAFFIC CRASH: Levi Ruth of Washington C.H. was traveling south on Creek Road and lost control of his vehicle. Ruth traveled off the right side of the roadway striking a tree. No injuries were reported. The vehicle sustained heavy damage in the crash and was towed from the scene. Ruth was cited for failure to control and OVI.

FEB. 5

TRAFFIC CRASH: Leroy Fooce Jr of Washington C.H. was traveling south on US 62 when a tire came off of Fooce’s vehicle. The tire traveled across the center line of the roadway striking a vehicle traveling north on US 62. No injuries were reported.

CRIMINAL TRESPASS: Deborah Lohning of Washington C.H. reported several subjects entered onto her property while hunting public land. Contact was made with the subjects and they were advised of the complaint and the consequences of their return.

FEB. 4

BREAKING AND ENTERING/THEFT: Robert Lanman of Sabina reported someone entered an outbuilding at his residence and removed items from inside.

BREAKING AND ENTERING/THEFT: Camden Storage Units in Washington C.H. reported someone cut a hole in the perimeter fence and entry was gained into a storage unit.

FEB. 3

TRAFFIC CRASH: Dominque Fleming of Rural Hall, N.C. was south on S.R 729. Fleming attempted to turn around in a private drive becoming stuck in the ditch. Fleming then attempted to back up striking a fence. No injuries were reported.

TRAFFIC CRASH: Edwin Newman III of Leesburg was traveling north on Stafford Road when a deer entered the roadway into the path of Newman’s vehicle. No injuries were reported. The vehicle sustained minor damage in the crash.

THEFT: Michael Cruea of Washington C.H. reported during a verbal argument with a known subject his cell phone was stolen.

FEB. 2

CRIMINAL DAMAGING: Selene Finance Company reported a property repossessed by their company on McDowell Street in Bloomingburg was damaged by someone.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: A motorist reported a male unconscious on Clyburn Avenue. The male was located and it was determined he was intoxicated. Brandon Abramson was arrested in the incident.
