According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

Oct. 20

Criminal Damaging: At 1:05 a.m., Tommy Hodge II reported that his vehicle was parked in the 400 block of Second Street and an unknown person caused damage to a mirror on the vehicle.

Assault: At 1:18 a.m., officers responded to 521 Gibbs Ave. in reference to a domestic. During the investigation, both parties made allegations against the other of assaulting them. Subsequently, Jennifer Daily and Jason Kidder were arrested. Daily was charged with assault and disorderly conduct. Kidder was charged with assault.

Trespassing: At 2:58 a.m., officers were investigating a complaint at Walmart. A subsequent traffic stop was conducted and Michael Newsome was located inside the vehicle. Newsome had previously been banned from Walmart due to committing previous thefts. Newsome was arrested for trespassing.

Oct. 19

Criminal Damaging: At 8:08 a.m., an employee of Morris Frozen Food Locker, located at 604 Rose Ave., reported that sometime overnight an unknown person caused damage to a window on the business.
