According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

Oct. 8

Domestic Violence: At 12:03 a.m., officers responded to a residence in reference to a domestic violence complaint. Officers made contact with a woman who reported that she was assaulted by her ex-husband, Paul Kettles. The woman had visible injuries, and Kettles was later located and arrested for domestic violence.

Theft: At 12:30 p.m., Steve Balahtsis reported that unknown persons stole a Rumpke trash can for his rental property. A theft report was completed.

Burglary: At 1:01 p.m., officers responded to a residence in reference to a burglary complaint. Officers made contact with Paula Reid and Terry Pendergraft, who advised that sometime while they were at work unknown persons forced entry into their home and stole property. A burglary report was completed and an investigation started.

Domestic Violence: At 1:41 p.m., officers responded to a residence for domestic violence. Officers made contact with the complainant, who advised that she was assaulted by Kari Poole. The victim had visible signs of being assaulted, and domestic violence charges were filed.

Oct. 7

Theft/Possession of Drug Paraphernalia: At 9:34 p.m., officers responded to the 1300 block of Leesburg Avenue (Walmart) in reference to a theft complaint. Upon arrival, officers made contact with loss prevention, which advised that the offender, Dylan G. Fowler, had committed theft from Walmart. During a search following the arrest, drug paraphernalia was located. The offender was taken into custody and charged with the listed offenses.

Oct. 6

Domestic Violence: At 8:15 p.m., Dustin Wilson was arrested after officers responded to a Temple Street address in reference to an assault.
