Altrusa’s ‘Loving Spoonsful’ tickets arrive

With the local Altrusa club’s primary fundraiser just one month away—Saturday, Oct. 19, at the Commission on Aging—one of the co-chairs of “Loving Spoonsful” recently visited Washington City Schools’ Cherry Hill Preschool, which is slated to receive a major portion of the proceeds from this year’s tasting luncheon. Dr. Melissa Marsh, an early-learning specialist, found the youngsters excited at the prospect of all the books, educational games, and other reading aids their teachers will be able to purchase with that gift. Tickets are now available, but limited; you may contact Marsh at 513-720-6956.
