According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

Sept. 12

Drug Abuse Instrument/Drug Paraphernalia: At 6:42 p.m., officers responded to Ranchers Roast Beef in reference to a female overdosing in the bathroom. Officers located Brooke Merritt, who overdosed in the bathroom with drug paraphernalia beside her. She was treated by the squad and charged accordingly.

Obstructing Official Business: At 7 p.m. on Sept. 11, officers responded to Fayette Landing in reference to a drug overdose. The female was located in the hallway and treated for a drug overdose outside of Robert McClendon’s apartment. On Sept. 12, it was determined that McClendon lied to officers during their investigation and was subsequently charged.
