According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

Aug. 22

Theft: At 12:49 a.m., Joni Kearns reported that unknown persons entered her backyard and stole her bicycle approximately 15 minutes prior to calling police. Officers were unable to locate the bicycle and a report was completed.

Theft: At 2:24 p.m., Danny Camp reported that sometime overnight, unknown persons stole the temporary license plate off of his vehicle. A theft report was completed.

Theft: At 2:54 p.m., an employee at Ace Hardware reported that a female stole merchandise from the store. A theft report was completed and the investigation is ongoing.

Theft: At 3:26 p.m., Roger Payne reported that a few days prior, he gave a female a ride and he noticed after dropping her off that his phone was stolen. A theft report was completed and the investigation is ongoing.

Menacing/Criminal Damaging: At 6:16 p.m., Britney Watson and Dawn Helfrich reported that while at Pettit’s on Court Street, a male threatened them and caused damage to their vehicle. A report was completed and the investigation is ongoing.
