According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

Aug. 20

Protection Order Violation: At 3:01 p.m., a woman reported that she has been receiving letters from Kevin Matthew while he in incarcerated in prison, which violates a current protection order. A report was completed.

Protection Order Violation: At 4:26 p.m., officers made contact with Wayne Lovely, who was living with a woman who has a current protection order against him. Lovely was arrested and charged.

Aug. 19

Assault: At 12:46 a.m., a man reported that he was assaulted by two known females in two separate incidents. He was referred to the city solicitor for the filing of charges.

Telecommunications Harassment: At 10 a.m., a woman reported that he had received 99 calls from her ex-boyfriend in approximately two hours. John Shiltz was arrested and charged with telecommunications harassment.

Obstructing Official Business/Driving Under Suspension: At 12:35 p.m., James Green was arrested after he fled on foot from a vehicle he was observed driving. He was also charged with driving under suspension.

Domestic Violence: At 3:47 p.m., Daniel Ruth was arrested and charged with domestic violence after officers received a complaint of him assaulting his live-in girlfriend.

Aug. 18

Theft: At 5:11 p.m., Advance Auto Parts reported the theft of two containers of 134-A Refrigerant. The offender was identified by store staff, and Shaun Rooker was arrested in the incident.
