According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

Aug. 16

Disorderly Conduct: At 1:05 a.m., officers observed a male and female arguing near Fifth Third Bank. The male, identified as Seth Wical, began using obscenities toward the female as officers made contact with them. Wical was issued a citation.

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia: At 2:36 a.m., officers stopped a vehicle for a registration violation. The driver, Dylan Fowler, advised that narcotics were possibly in the vehicle. Narcotics and paraphernalia were located in the vehicle. Fowler was charged with drug paraphernalia charges, and the narcotics were sent in for testing.

Theft: At 12:10 p.m., officers responded to CVS on a shoplifting complaint. The offender departed in a vehicle after stealing merchandise. A theft report was completed.

Theft: At 12:16 p.m., Amy Newland reported that while checking out at Kroger she withdrew cash out of the self-checkout register. She forgot the cash and the next patron stole the cash. A theft report was completed.

Menacing: At 5:37 p.m., a woman reported that she was receiving threatening messages from Paul Myers through Facebook Messenger. A menacing report was completed and she was referred to the city solicitor for possible charges.
