Miami Trace FFA Alumni/Boosters Consignment Sale set for Friday

0

On Friday, Aug. 9, the Miami Trace FFA Alumni/Boosters will have their consignment sale at the Fayette County fairgrounds.

Items sold include tractors, combines, sprayers, implements such as plows and discs, semis, and smaller items such as lawnmowers, welders and tractor tires. FFA alumni members, FFA members and the Wendt Group spend several days planning, unloading equipment and organizing to get ready for the sale.

Miami Trace FFA Alumni has worked in cooperation with the Wendt Group Inc. to produce funds for the FFA chapter for many years now. Nick Cummings and Kevin Wendt have been long-time supporters of the FFA and provided funds to the FFA. The Miami Trace FFA would like to thank Nick Cummings, Kevin Wendt and the Wendt Group for their continued support of the FFA and ensuring a successful sale.

In the past, The Wendt Group has donated 1 percent of the sale earnings to the Miami Trace FFA alumni. The alumni has taken the income from the consignment sale and donated it to the FFA members so they can attend and participate in various activities throughout the year such as Ohio FFA Camp Muskingum or the Washington Leadership Conference. As well as, college scholarships that are handed out to seniors at the annual FFA banquet in April. The Miami Trace FFA would like to give a big thank you to both The Wendt Group and the alumni members.

The sale is an excellent way for Miami Trace FFA members to work directly with their local alumni who support them throughout their years as an FFA member, and to work with other supporters of the FFA such as the Wendt Group, and all of the consignors and bidders at the sale. The Miami Trace FFA looks forward to seeing the community and many familiar faces at the 2019 Consignment Sale!
