Police Incidents

According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

Aug. 1

Disorderly Conduct: At 9:13 a.m., officers responded to the Mobil gas station on Columbus Avenue in reference to an intoxicated male who defecated behind the business. The male, identified as Shawn Pigot, was located in the area and arrested.

Criminal Trespassing: At 12:43 p.m., officers responded to 511 E. Temple St. in reference to a trespassing complaint. Upon arrival, officers located William Dillon in an apartment, which he had previously been banned from. Dillon was arrested.

Drug Abuse Instrument: At 3:09 p.m., officers arrested Tiffany Kingery on an active warrant for her arrest. During a search incident to the arrest, a used hypodermic needle was located on her person. She was charged accordingly.

Theft: At 6:06 p.m., Traci Corbin reported that her purse was stolen out of her vehicle while it was parked in front of her residence. A theft report was completed.

July 31

Menacing: At 2:07 a.m., a man reported that he was receiving threatening messages through Facebook Messenger from the grand mother to his child. A report was completed.

Breaking & Entering/Criminal Damaging: At 11:45 a.m., the owner of the Bluestone Inn reported that unknown persons broke the window to Room 213 and stole an air conditioner from the room. A report was completed.

Assault on Police Officer/Aggravated Menacing/Obstructing: At 7:49 p.m., an officer stopped a vehicle for squealing tires on the Washington Square lot. While making contact, the driver, Roger Taylor, became very angry and began obstructing the officer. He was advised to exit the vehicle, at which time he assaulted the officer. A short struggle ensued and Taylor was arrested and charged.

Criminal Trespassing: At 8:11 p.m., officers responded to Fayette Landing on Delaware Street in reference to a trespassing complaint. Officers located James Green in the building, who had previously been banned. Green was arrested and charged.
