New Holland United Methodist Women hold June meeting

Members of the New Holland United Methodist Women assembled at the church on June 12.

Ann Thompson, president, welcomed all. Janet Kirkpatrick gave devotions, “Microwave Prayers,” followed by prayer. Betsy McFadden gave the secretary’s report. The treasurer’s report was given by Pat Taylor.

A donation was given to the Vacation Bible School that starts Monday, June 17 to June 21, 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the church. Dinner will be served every evening at 5:30 p.m. If you can help, please contact Rebecca Ross, Vacation Bible School director.

“A Time to Pray” is held every Tuesday at the church at 6:30 p.m. Thank yous were given to all who have helped with the Lions Club dinners. Hostesses are needed for meetings, contact Ann Thompson if you would like to help.

Betsy McFadden shared an article, “LIVE,” from the Response Book. Pastor Brian Dunham presented the program, “Promote Right Teaching,” sharing how we can all learn and promote right teaching.

The group closed with prayer. The next meeting will be held at the church on Wednesday, July 10 at 7:30 p.m.
