The Washington City School District has released the following breakfast and lunch menus for January 2016:

WASHINGTON HIGH SCHOOL:

Jan. 1-6: Winter Break

Jan. 7: Whole grain (WG) Spaghetti/meat sauce, WG breadstick, seasoned peas, romaine/tomato salad, pear, mixed fruit. Breakfast: WG blueberry waffle, goldfish, crackers and apple.

Jan. 8: Grilled cheese on whole grain bread, tomato soup, green beans, apple juice, Mandarin oranges. Breakfast: whole grain breakfast pizza, assorted yogurt, orange juice.

Jan. 11: Chicken fingers, romaine and tomato, whole grain roll, broccoli with cheese, pear, apple sauce. Breakfast: Cheese omelet/whole grain biscuit, goldfish crackers, apricots.

Jan. 12: Soft taco, corn, refried beans, diced peaches, orange wedges. Breakfast: WG breakfast pizza, assorted yogurt, grape juice.

Jan. 13: Turkey on a whole grain bun, tomato juice, green beans, apple, Mandarin oranges. Breakfast: whole grain pancakes, mixed fruit.

Jan. 14: Chicken and noodles, mashed potatoes, whole grain roll, diced carrots, grapes, apricots. Breakfast: apple frudel, goldfish vanilla graham, banana.

Jan. 15: Hot dog on WG bun, french fries, baked beans, pineapple, diced pears. Breakfast: WG breakfast pizza, assorted yogurt, orange wedges.

Jan. 18: MLK Day – NO SCHOOL

Jan. 19: Salisbury steak, mashed potatoes, whole grain roll, cooked spinach, Mandarin oranges, grape juice. Breakfast: whole grain breakfast pizza, assorted yogurt, apple.

Jan. 20: Hamburger on a whole grain bun, vegetarian beans, cauliflower with cheese, apple, diced pears. Breakfast: whole grain blueberry pancake wrap, goldfish crackers, orange wedges.

Jan. 21: Hot beef and cheese on whole grain bun, potato wedges, green beans, grapes, apricots. Breakfast: whole grain biscuit and egg patty, cheese slices, banana.

Jan. 22: Baked chicken drumstick, honey glazed carrots, whole grain roll, mashed potatoes and gravy, apple juice, pineapple. Breakfast: whole grain breakfast pizza, assorted yogurt, orange juice.

Jan. 25: Sloppy Joe on whole grain bun, sweet potato puff, pinto beans, apple, orange juice. Breakfast: mini chocolate chip waffle, goldfish vanilla graham, applesauce.

Jan. 26: General Tso chicken, brown rice, corn, broccoli with cheese, Mandarin oranges, diced peaches. Breakfast: whole grain breakfast pizza, assorted yogurt, orange juice.

Jan. 27: Meatloaf, diced carrots, whole grain roll, mashed potatoes and gravy, pineapple, mixed fruit. Breakfast: granola cereal, assorted yogurt, apple.

Jan. 28: Nacho el grande, refried beans, seasoned peas, banana, applesauce. Breakfast: whole grain mini maple waffle, goldfish crackers, Mandarin oranges.
