According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

May 23

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia: At 12:47 a.m., officers stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office K-9, Odra, was utilized for a fresh air sniff, which she positively indicated. Officers located drug paraphernalia in the vehicle where Annette Burris was sitting. Burris was arrested for the offense.

Menacing/Drug Abuse Instrument/Drug Paraphernalia: At 4:45 a.m., Tamara Sturgell reported that Penny Myers made threats of physical harm to her. Myers was arrested and found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia. She was charged accordingly.

Theft: At 10:56 a.m., Jesse Null reported that sometime overnight, unknown persons entered her unlocked vehicle and stole items. A theft report was completed.

Disorderly Conduct: At 3:59 p.m., officers responded to Fayette County Memorial Hospital in reference to a male causing a disturbance. Upon arrival, officers made contact with Danny Collins, who was intoxicated, and he was arrested for his behavior.

May 22

Obstructing Official Business/Criminal Damaging: At 8:08 p.m., officers located Clifford Morris, who had an active bench warrant for his arrest. Once he observed officers, he fled on foot and broke a privacy fence while fleeing. After a short foot pursuit, he was apprehended.
