According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

May 13

Breaking & Entering: While conducting an after-hour building check at 212 E. Court St. (Harry & Annie’s), officers located Shannon Noel hiding inside the business. Noel was subsequently taken into custody and charged with breaking and entering.

Theft: Thomas Speakman advised that unknown person(s) had entered his garage sometime during the past week and removed several tools.

May 10

Criminal Trespass/Drug Abuse Instrument/Drug Paraphernalia: At 4:38 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 600 block of Gregg Street in reference to a male trespassing on the complainant’s property. Officers located the male in the 1000 block of Gregg Street attempting to gain entry into a garage. The male was arrested and identified as Curtis Ford, who also had an outstanding warrant.

Theft: At 8:59 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 400 block of Peabody Avenue in reference to a female stealing from vehicles. Officers located the offender, Chrystal Shadley, who was arrested for theft.

May 8

Theft of a Motor Vehicle: At 8:07 a.m., Lyle Fox reported that while inside Burger King, unknown persons stole his unlocked vehicle that was parked in the parking lot with the keys in the ignition. A theft report was completed.

May 7

Drug Paraphernalia/Drug Abuse Instrument: At 2:17 a.m., officers arrested Clifford Morris on an active bench warrant. He was in possession of drug paraphernalia, and was charged accordingly.

May 6

Vehicular Assault: At 9:56 p.m., Nicholas Hatfield reported that during an altercation with two other subjects, he was struck by a vehicle which departed prior to officers’ arrival. A report was completed and an investigation started.
