Locals cast ballots at Tuesday’s election

The 2019 special election was held on Tuesday. Residents of Fayette County had one important issue to vote on: the new jail levy.

Jerry Brickles took the time to vote at the Mahan Building Tuesday.

Poll workers at South Side Church of Christ were on hand to check in and help every resident who walked in wanting to vote.

Another resident, Travis Burden, voted Tuesday afternoon at South Side Church of Christ.

The back of the fire truck bay at the Washington Fire Department was filled with poll workers and voters on Tuesday afternoon.
