According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

May 4

Theft/Criminal Simulation: At 9:02 p.m., Katelyn Sword reported a theft complaint. She advised that she sold clothing to Elyza Jakob and Nicholas Hatfield for $20. They reportedly gave her a counterfeit $100 bill and were given $80 in return, including the sweatshirt.

Obstructing Official Business: At 9:28 p.m., officers were attempting to serve a warrant on Melissa Funk at a residence. Funk fled out the front door of the residence and was apprehended after a short foot pursuit.

May 3

Disorderly Conduct: At 2:12 p.m., officers were dispatched to UDF in reference to a possible drug overdose. Blaine Bailey was located in his vehicle under the influence, but not overdosing. He was arrested for disorderly conduct.

Theft: At 5:15 p.m., an employee from the Mobil Gas station reported that a younger male pumped gas into his vehicle and departed without paying. A theft report was completed.

May 2

Obstructing Official Business: At 12:38 a.m., officers attempted to make contact with a male on a bicycle for not having proper lights. The male fled on foot, at which time a short foot pursuit ensued. The male was apprehended and identified as Donnie Jenkins, who had multiple felony warrants for his arrest.

Protection Order Violation: At 2:32 a.m., a woman reported that Robert Shafer violated an active protection order she has on him. A CPO violation report was completed and she was referred to the city solicitor.

Obstructing Official Business/Theft: At 3:33 p.m., employees from Pizza Hut reported that a patrol ate a meal and departed without paying. The offender, James Washburn, was located in the area and gave false information to officers in reference to his identity. He was arrested and charged accordingly.

Theft: At 3:55 p.m., employees from Pat Catans reported a theft by a female. The female fled the store prior to officers’ arrival, but was identified as Marilyn Elliott. A report was completed and warrant filed.

May 1

Possession of a Drug Abuse Instrument: At 12:45 a.m., officers arrested Nicholaus Johns on an active bench warrant. During a search incident to the arrest, officers located drug paraphernalia on his person.

Disorderly Conduct/Possession of Schedule III Controlled Substance: At 3:24 a.m., officers received a complaint of a male passed out, partially in the roadway in the 600 block of Delaware Street. Officers located Walter Aills, who was subsequently arrested for disorderly conduct. He was also in possession of a schedule III controlled substance.

Forgery/Theft: At 4:09 p.m., Larry Mcalla reported that unknown persons forged his name and cashed a check that was made out to him last year. A report was completed and the investigation began.
