Seton celebrates 20-year milestone

On Dec. 8, Seton of Washington Court House held a celebration in honor of the 20 years they have been established here locally.

During the gathering, current tenants and employees shared stories, photos and newspaper clippings from the past 20 years and shared cake and punch. For the past 20 years, Seton Washington Court House (A Fair Housing Community) has provided comfortable, secure, affordable housing for active seniors in a quiet, secluded setting.

Tenants must be at least 62 years young and meet HUD income limits. Rent is based on 30 percent of adjusted income, and includes electric, gas, water and trash removal. All of their one bedroom apartments are equipped with major kitchen appliances, carpet and air-conditioning. They provide an on-site property manager, service coordinator and maintenance manager, along with laundry facilities, two beautiful community rooms, medical emergency call switches, and a controlled access entry system.

With all of these amenities, Seton looks forward to serving the community for yet another 20 years!
