According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

April 3

Drug Abuse Instrument: At 1:21 a.m., officers observed a male identified as David E. Bailey, who had an active warrant for his arrest, pull into the Bluestone hotel. He was arrested on the warrant, at which time drug paraphernalia and suspected narcotics were located.

Theft by Deception: At 2:30 p.m., Angela Eggleton reported that she was a victim of a scam where she bought multiple Google Play cards and sent the information to an unknown person. A theft report was completed.

Arson: At 5:36 p.m., officers, along with the Washington Fire Department, responded to a fire in the alley of the 700 block of Washington Avenue. It was determined that the fire was started intentionally, and officers identified the juvenile offenders.

Drug Abuse Instrument/Drug Paraphernalia: At 10:27 p.m., Dashon Harris overdosed on narcotics and was revived with Narcan by EMS. Drug paraphernalia was located, which he was subsequently charged with.

April 2

Criminal Damaging/Attempted Theft: At 3:21 p.m., Ryan Esau reported that sometime overnight a known person attempted to take his roll-back without his permission. The offender broke the ignition in the process. A report was completed.

Criminal Damaging: At 5:54 p.m., Patricia Miller reported that sometime during the day a vehicle backed into her chain-link fence, causing damage. A criminal damaging complaint was completed.

Theft: At 6:46 p.m., Julie Seymore reported that a box trailer parked at the rear of her residence was taken. The trailer belongs to a business belonging to her and her husband. A theft report was completed.

Drug Possession/Drug Paraphernalia/Child Endangerment: At 9:56 p.m., officers executed a search warrant at 818 N. North St. During the search, drugs and drug paraphernalia were located in the presence of a juvenile. A report was completed and charges are pending.
