According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

March 20

Possession of Drugs/Possession of Drug Paraphernalia: At 10:41 a.m., officers investigated suspected drug activity around a storage unit at the Smartshop Self Storage on Victoria Street. Contact was made with multiple people during the investigation, some of which had active warrants for their arrests. Tiffany Wilcox and Derek Graham were in possession of narcotics and drug paraphernalia.

Assault/Obstructing Official Business: At 2:50 p.m., officers responded to McDonald’s on South Elm Street in reference to an active fight. Upon arrival a juvenile was observed running from the area and was later arrested for obstructing. It was determined that one juvenile assaulted another juvenile and was arrested for assault.

March 19

Disorderly Conduct: At 9:38 a.m., officers were asked to assist municipal court probation in an attempt to locate Dalton Snyder and a female who left community service. Snyder was located, and while in contact with officers, became belligerent and was subsequently arrested.

Theft/Criminal Damaging: At 9:49 a.m., Heather Umstead reported that while her vehicle was parked at the YMCA, unknown persons busted a window to her vehicle and stole her purse. A report was completed.

Obstructing Official Business/Drug Paraphernalia/Drug Abuse Instrument: At 1:03 p.m., officers initiated a traffic stop with a vehicle for fictitious registration. While making contact, both occupants gave officers false information. They were later identified as James Miller and Brittany Smith. During a vehicle inventory, drug paraphernalia was located. Both were charged accordingly.

Theft: At 3:48 p.m., the manager at Cricket Wireless reported two cell phones stolen from inside the store sometime in the past few months. A theft report was completed.

Theft: At 7:27 p.m., Derrick Wade reported that the rear license plate was stolen off of his vehicle sometime overnight. His vehicle was parked in the rear of his residence. A theft report was completed.

Theft: At 7:27 p.m., Trenton Watson reported that the front license plate was stolen off of his vehicle sometime overnight. His vehicle was parked in the rear of his residence. A theft report was completed.

Failure to Disclose Personal Information/Resisting Arrest: At 10:09 p.m., officers were investigating a disturbance at Jenni Lane Apartments. Officers determined a female was involved in the disturbance and she gave false information to officers. She was subsequently arrested, at which time she resisted arrest. The female was identified as Megen Wise, who was charged accordingly.

March 18

Domestic Violence by Threats/Resisting Arrest: At 7 p.m., Michael Danko reported that the mother to his child, Ashley Cooper, threatened him. A warrant was clerked, and during Cooper’s arrest, she resisted officers. Cooper was charged accordingly.

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia: At 9:24 p.m., officers made contact with Nicholas Cook at his residence in reference to an active warrant through Madison County. During a search incident to the arrest, drug paraphernalia was located on his person.
