According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

Feb. 10

Possession of Drugs/Carrying Concealed Weapon/Resisting Arrest: At 11:57 a.m., officers responding to Walmart on a call of a person with a gun found Marvan D.L. Woodfork to be in possession of drugs and a concealed weapon. Woodfork attempted to avoid arrest and resisted officers. He was taken into custody and charged with multiple charges.

Feb. 8

Theft: At 2:09 p.m., officers were dispatched to Family Dollar in reference to a theft complaint. Upon arrival, officers located Tamara Miller in possession of stolen property. She was arrested for theft, and the property was returned.

Feb. 7

Theft: At 6:01 a.m., John George reported a theft offense. He advised that sometime overnight, an unknown person stole the light bar off his vehicle while it was parked at 1030 Gregg St. A theft report was completed.

Telecommunication Harassment: At 10:26 p.m., Robert Wilson reported he was receiving threatening Facebook messages. He advised that the messages were received six days ago, and he was referred to the city solicitor for possible charges.

Feb. 6

Theft: At 12:11 a.m., Sherry Pettry reported that while visiting her relative at 1215 Gregg St., Apt. 103, her prescription medication was stolen. A theft report was completed.

Criminal Trespassing: At 4:35 p.m., officers responded to Kroger in reference to a male in the store with active warrants. Officers located and arrested Martin Hoagland on the outstanding warrants. He was additionally charged with criminal trespassing due to being previously banned from the business.

Domestic Violence: At 9:05 p.m., officers responded to 315 Worley St. in reference to a domestic violence complaint. Upon arrival, officers determined that Christopher Landenburg and his child assaulted one another. Both were arrested for domestic violence.

Feb. 5

Underage Alcohol Possession: At 12:05 p.m., officers were dispatched to the Washington Middle School in reference to a student bringing alcohol into school. Officers located the alcohol, and the student was charged.

Endangering Children: At 2:06 p.m., officers responded to 1218 S. Main St. in reference to small children being left home unattended. Upon arrival, it was determined that the father left the small children home alone. Charges were filed against the father.

Possession of a Drug Abuse Instrument: At 5:23 p.m., officers located Dashon Harris at the Mobile gas station on Columbus Avenue. He was arrested on outstanding warrants. During a search incident to arrest, a used hypodermic needle was found on the defendant, which he was charged with.

Burglary/Theft: At 6:30 p.m., Sandra Rhoads reported that unknown person(s) entered her vacant residence and stole items. A burglary report was completed.
