According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

Jan. 18

Underage Consumption/Disorderly Conduct: At 7:13 p.m., Dalton Snyder came to the Washington C.H. Police Department to turn himself in due to being under 21 and having consumed alcohol. As a precaution, Snyder was taken to the hospital to seek treatment. While at the hospital, Snyder became disruptive and caused problems. He was subsequently arrested for underage consumption of alcohol and disorderly conduct.

Jan. 15

Possessing a Drug Abuse Instrument: At 8:57 a.m., officers were dispatched to 1230 E. Temple St. in reference to a trespassing complaint. Officers located Dashon Harris in the area, and upon making contact with him, he dropped a used hypodermic needle on the ground. Harris was arrested for possessing a drug abuse instrument.

Domestic Violence: At 2:56 p.m., officers were dispatched to 704 S. Main St. in reference to a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival, officers discovered that a juvenile assaulted another family member. Charges were filed for domestic violence.

Stolen Vehicle: At 3:35 p.m., Vickie Lyons reported that her vehicle was stolen from her residence. Officers located the vehicle at 616 F Village Court, where contact was made with Seth Smith. During the investigation it was discovered that Smith attempted to destroy evidence from the stolen vehicle while inside the residence. He was arrested for fourth-degree felony receiving stolen property, third-degree felony tampering with evidence and obstructing official business.

Theft: At 3:40 p.m., Bryon Bartholomew reported that his juvenile foster child stole and used his wife’s debit card to make unauthorized transactions on the internet. A report for fifth-degree felony theft and misuse of a credit card was filed.

Criminal Trespass: At 6:50 p.m., James Riley reported that an unknown masked person was in his garage at 350 Third St. without permission. When he confronted the unknown masked person, the person fled on foot and was not located.

Jan. 14

Theft/Misuse of a Credit Card: Pamette Clark reported that person(s) unknown gained access to her bank card information and used it to send a MoneyGram on Jan. 10 to a Walmart store in Texas.

Domestic Violence: Officers responded to 644 Peddicord Ave. after receiving a third party complaint of a disturbance at that residence. An investigation revealed that a juvenile in the home had assaulted another family member. Charges were filed for domestic violence.

Jan. 12

Theft: At 9:08 p.m., an employee of Family Dollar reported that a male concealed merchandise and departed the store without paying for the items. The male, identified as Preston L. Bowman, was located and arrested for the listed offense.
