Join Rose Avenue Community Center (RACC) on Monday, Dec. 31 from 8 p.m. to 12 a.m., for a Gospel Music New Year’s Eve Celebration.

Featuring “Kyle and Brittany,” along with the RACC Worship Team “Rescued & Resolved” and gospel music singer, song writer and recording artist Chris Baldwin, as they share the Good News of Jesus Christ and celebrate the King of Kings, our Lord and Savior, in song, worship, testimonies, praises and prayers!

Formerly known as “Reflective,” Kyle and Brittany Shaeffer make up this dynamic husband and wife duet, and, with the many talents God has given them, they have been traveling around Ohio and surrounding states for several years ministering the good news of Jesus Christ.

“For us, our music is more than just a ministry, it is a mission,” Kyle said. “A mission to share the love of Christ with as many people as possible, and a mission to reflect the image of God, so that through us, others will find salvation through Him.”

Rescued & Resolved is a newly-formed group of local musicians, singers, songwriters and recording artists with many decades of experience in music and ministry between them all, including several members of Heritage Memorial Church, who have been called together to help build the Kingdom using their talents to glorify God and lift up the name of Jesus.

Having its beginnings at RACC & Church, “R & R” consists of Matt Caldwell on bass guitar, Rev. Dan Justice on vocals and piano, Nina Nash and Lois Bowers singing lead and back-up vocals, Kevin Cremeans on guitar and vocals, and Mark Michael on drums. Just to see souls saved for eternity through Jesus Christ and the name of God glorified is their only desire.

Chris Baldwin began developing his love for music as a young boy growing up in the Springfield area, honing his skills and God-given talents in front of family and friends. In late 2003, Chris gave his life to Jesus and soon after felt God’s call to use his talents to glorify God. After serving God in the worship ministry of his home church, Chris joined a group of friends in a traveling music ministry, serving the Lord in the local area.

After many months, he answered God’s call to step out in faith and minister the Gospel of Jesus Christ solo. Through obedience and putting the Lord first in all he does, Chris is seeing God open doors of opportunity and pour out blessings on him and his family as he shares his testimony with others. Just to see souls saved for eternity through Jesus Christ and the name of God glorified is Chris’ desire.

As an outreach of RACC and Church, located at 412 Rose Ave. in Washington C.H., all for the glory of God, they invite the community to come sing, worship and pray in the New Year with them.

As always, admission is free; doors will open at 7:30 p.m., free food will be served at 10 p.m., and free drinks will be provided during the evening. A free-will offering will be received.
