According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

Dec. 19

Domestic Violence/Assault/Disrupting Public Service/Obstructing Official Business/Endangering Children/Resisting Arrest: At 8:49 a.m., a woman reported that during an argument with a family or household member she was physically assaulted, and the phone she was using to call for help was rendered inoperable. The male, Brock N. Vernon, was arrested for domestic violence. During the arrest, Vernon resisted and struck an officer in the face prior to being taken into custody. Vernon was charged with the listed offenses.

Disorderly Conduct: At 2:34 p.m., officers were called to the 600 block of West Oakland Avenue on a disturbance complaint. Contact was made with the party involved and she was warned to cease her actions, but failed to do so and continued with her disruptive behavior. The female, identified as Teresa L. Craft, was arrested for the offense.

Theft: At 3:25 p.m., Shawn Mouser reported that he received a counterfeit $100 bill from an unknown person as payment for a puppy he was selling.

Dec. 17

Resisting Arrest/Obstructing Official Business/Assault on Officer/Disorderly Conduct/Aggravated Menacing: At 6:09 p.m., officers responding to a call of a domestic disturbance at 2001 Heritage Drive Apartment 2 attempted to take Amber Tigue into custody on a probation violation when she resisted arrest, obstructed officers, threatened to kill officers and assaulted an officer during her arrest.
