Mrs. Kirkpatrick’s class explains how to cook a turkey

Mrs. Kirkpatrick’s Miami Trace Elementary Kindergarten class recently explained how they make a Thanksgiving turkey.

Go to Wal-Mart to get a turkey. Cook it in oven at 13 degrees for 10 hours. Turn off the stove and you eat it.

We go to the grocery store to get a turkey. Put salt on it and cook it in a microwave for 5 minutes. When it cools down, we put salt on it and eat it.

We buy turkeys and we take our own turkeys to a factory. They kill it and give it to us. We weigh it and bag it. When it’s time to cook it, we put it in a crock pot for a couple minutes. We take it out and sell some. We eat some. I put catsup on mine.

I get a turkey at Wal-Mart. When we get it home, I put it in a crock pot for about 7 minutes. When it beeps it is done. We cut it and eat with with BBQ sauce on it.

My mommy gets a turkey at Wal-Mart. She cooks it in the microwave for 5 minutes….I think. We put spice on it and eat it.

My mom gets her turkey from the farm. She puts it in the oven at 25 degrees for 10 minutes. When the timer gets to “0”, it is done. We take it out and put it on a plate. I don’t eat any of it because I don’t like it.

My daddy gets a turkey at his farm. He puts it in the store at 28 degrees for 54 hours. We get it out of the the oven, put spices on it and eat it. We give the “left overs” to the dog.
