The Record-Herald recently asked for submissions from residents to show off their Beggars’ Night costume. Braeden Feasel, dressed as a 3-year-old police officer, meets with a Washington Police Department Officer who was passing out candy.

The Three Musketeers — Claire, Elysa and Leah Day — were on the case Thursday evening looking for plenty of sweets.

Harrison Speakman was fully invested in his Colonel Sanders costume, complete with a chicken bucket.

Showing off a particularly creative costume, Henry Patton went as the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man with some cute results.

This baby prisoner, Kolesun Stevens, broke out for some candy on Thursday evening in his getaway car.

Madeline Butcher pulled off the pumpkin look just right on Thursday evening.

Madelynn Underwood and Josie Underwood hit the town dressed as everyone’s favorite Italian plumber Mario and the beautiful Princess Peach.

Mathew Fryer, dressed as Lego Ninjago Jay, prepared for his evening to gather candy.
