MT honors Spec. Deputy Don Campbell

The Fayette County Sheriff Auxiliary was formed in 1962 by Sheriff Don Thompson and Chief Deputy Bob McArthur. The main purpose of the organization was to patrol and provide security at Miami Trace ball games. Special Deputy Don Campbell, at left, was in attendance at the first Miami Trace home football game and he was on duty Friday, Oct. 19, 2018. He was recognized at the end of the first quarter of the Panthers’ game against Hillsboro. At right is Miami Trace High School Athletic Director Aaron Hammond, who introduced Deputy Campbell to the crowd.
