The kids were also able to take a look in the back of the ambulance.

The children were delighted when the water from the firehose knocked over the cone.

In honor of National Fire Prevention Week, Miss Bonnie’s Storytime met at the Jeffersonville Branch Library, then traveled to the Jeffersonville Fire Station where Firefighter Devon Jenkins led a tour of the station and showed us the grass truck (which was a favorite), the ambulance, fire engines and the favorite feature of the visit: using a fire hose to blow a cone down with water. All those in attendance thanked Firefighter Devon for a very interesting tour of our local fire station.
