According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

Oct. 7

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia: At 6:33 p.m., officers responding to a call for a welfare check of Carl Persinger found Persinger to be in possession of drug paraphernalia. Charges were filed.

Oct. 3

Disorderly Conduct: At 3:20 p.m., officers checked a complaint of a vehicle parked in the 100 block of North Main Street with man inside who was slumped over. Upon arrival the male was identified as Joseph D. Houser, who was found to be under the influence and was uncooperative with officers and EMS personnel. After being warned to cease his actions and failing to do so, Houser was arrested for the listed offense.

Theft: At 7:57 p.m., Courtney McDaniel reported that unknown person(s) removed property from the front porch of her residence.

Oct. 2

Telecommunication Harassment: At 9:40 a.m., a woman reported that a known person has repeatedly called her and made comments that she believes to be threatening.

Criminal Damaging: At 11:38 a.m., James Howe reported that unknown person(s) appeared to have kicked a door at his residence, causing damage to the door frame.

Disorderly Conduct: At 5:02 p.m., officers were checking a complaint of a female passed out on the steps of the South Side Church of Christ on South Fayette Street. Upon arrival the female was identified as Brittany L. Gorman, who was found to be under the influence. Gorman was arrested for the listed offense.

Oct. 1

Obstructing Official Business/Resisting Arrest: At 11:22 a.m. while officers were attempting to serve an arrest warrant on Phillip Davis, Davis attempted to flee from officers and then actively resisted as officers took him into custody. Charges were filed.

Criminal Trespass: At 10:07 p.m., officers responding to the Demented Bar were advised by the owner that Melissa Tackett had been told to leave the establishment, but she returned and harassed other patrons. Tackett was arrested for criminal trespass.
