According to reports, the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office responded to the following calls:

OCT. 31

DOMESTIC DISPUTE: Deputies responded to a reported disturbance on Grace St. Upon making contact with the involved parties both parties reported only a verbal dispute. Both denied any physical altercation or threats.

OCT. 30

RECOVERED STOLEN VEHICLE/CRIMINAL DAMAGING: Deputies responded to the area of Robinson Road near Camp Grove Road on a report of a vehicle abandoned along the roadway. Upon arriving the vehicle was found to have all the windows broken out and all four tires were flat. The vehicle did not have any license plates on it. Upon checking the VIN number, it was found to have been reported as stolen from Columbus on Oct. 27. The vehicle was towed from the scene.

TRAFFIC CRASH: Darrell Poare of Chillicothe was traveling north on the access Road towards U.S. 22. Poare stopped at the stop sign and attempted to make a left turn onto U.S. 22. Poare failed to yield to a vehicle traveling east on U.S. 22 causing Mark Paugh of Washington C.H. to strike Poare’s vehicle. No injuries were reported. Both vehicles sustained minor damage in the crash. Poare was cited for Failure to Yield.

TRAFFIC CRASH: Maria Gonzalez of Mundelein, Ill., was traveling east on U.S. 35 when a deer entered the roadway into the path of her vehicle. No injuries were reported. The vehicle sustained heavy damage in the crash and was towed from the scene.

CRIMINAL DAMAGING: Chantelle Coder of Jamestown reported while parked at the Waffle House someone caused damage to the door handle of her vehicle.

ARSON/BREAKING AND ENTERING: Ohio Truck Parts reports someone lit road flares and threw them through the windows at the business.

OCT. 29

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: Deputies responded to a complaint of a male laying in the ditch on S.R. 38. The male was found intoxicated. Arrested in the incident was Samuel Higman of Washington C.H.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: Deputies received a complaint of a male walking. Deputies located the male who was consuming alcohol and located liquor on the male. Arrested in the incident was Spencer Hargo of Bloomingburg.

OVI/POSSESSION OF DRUGS: Deputies received a complaint of a vehicle swerving on the roadway on S.R. 38. The vehicle was located and the driver was found to be impaired. The driver also possessed prescription narcotics. Pamela Sheerin of Washington C.H. was charged in the incident

RECOVERED STOLEN VEHICLE: Deputies located a fifth wheel trailer that had been previously reported stolen in Columbus.

THEFT: Employees of Rue 21 at the Tanger Outlet in Jeffersonville reported two males entered the store and removed items of clothing.

GAMBLING: Tony Siharath of Halton City, Texas reported while on the lot of TA he entered into a card game which several males took his money and fled.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE: Employee at the Post Office in Bloomingburg reported someone caused damage to the walls.

TRAFFIC CRASH: Guy Beauplan of Pompano Beach, Fla., was traveling southbound on State Route 753 when he attempted to make an illegal U-turn with his semi and trailer. The vehicle became jackknifed on the roadway. He was cited for the Illegal Turn.

TRAFFIC CRASH: Gerald Burner of Washington C.H. was traveling northbound on U.S. 62 near Madison Road when a deer struck the side of his vehicle. No injuries were reported. The vehicle sustained minor damage.

OCT. 28

THEFT: T. Wallace of Washington C.H. reported he received a phone call about an unpaid debt. It was later determined to be a scam.

DOMESTIC DISPUTE: Deputies were dispatched to a domestic incident on Grassy Branch Road in Sabina. Upon the completion of the investigation it was determined that no assault or threats of violence occurred.

THEFT/B&E: Charles Crusie of Washington C.H. reported that someone broke into a locked shed and removed several items.

TRAFFIC CRASH: Petru Bulat, Las Vegas, Nev., reported he had stopped his semi-tractor trailer in line at the fuel pumps at Love’s Truck Stop, when another semi-tractor trailer, driven by Aerris Smith, Charlotte, N.C., in an adjacent line backed up. The trailer of the Smith’s truck stuck the trailer of Bulat’s truck. Minor damage was sustained to both trailers.

OCT. 27

TRAFFIC CRASH: Randy Johnson of Greenfield was traveling northbound on Washington New Martinsburg Road when Johnson struck a deer in the roadway. No injuries were reported. The vehicle sustained minor damage.

TRAFFIC CRASH: Jessica Norwich of Dayton was traveling eastbound on Route 435 when Norwich struck a deer in the roadway. No injuries were reported. The vehicle sustained minor damage.

TRAFFIC CRASH: Ginger Munro of Washington C.H. was traveling eastbound on Bloomingburg New Holland Road. Upon stopping at the stop sign Munro began to turn northbound onto State Route 41. Munro failed to observe a vehicle operated by Casey McDaniel of Washington C.H. traveling southbound on State Route 41. Both vehicles struck in the intersection. No injuries were reported. Both vehicle sustained minor damage. Munro was cited for Failure to Yield.

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE: A female from Leesburg reported she was threatened by a known male.

TELEPHONE HARASSMENT: Mayer Farm Equipment of Jeffersonville reported they have received multiple unwanted telephone calls from a known location.

PROTECTION ORDER: A protection order was served pursuant to Court Order.

DOMESTIC DISPUTE: Deputies were dispatched to Woodsview Drive in Jeffersonville on a domestic incident. Upon the completion of the investigation it was determined that no assault or threat of violence had occurred.
