Altrusa’s sweet surprise at Fayette Christian School

The local Altrusa club’s Finance Committee surprised staff at Fayette Christian School with a “Random Act of Kindness”: sweet treats just in time for lunch. Each year, the five standing committees of Altrusa International of Washington C.H. chose a month to perform a RAK somewhere in the community, and September was the month chosen by Chair Anne Quinn’s group. It turned out that Tuesday was a good day to pump up energy, as the Crusaders were to host a volleyball match that very evening. Pictured are Anne Quinn, Pastor Tony Garren, Joyce Huntington, Sally Begin, FCS secretary Tonya Pollock and Mary Sue Spengler. Other Altrusans on the Finance Committee are Nancy Bennett, Norita Craycraft and Vicki Staffan.
