The VFW Post 3762 Riders and other VFW organizations will be holding a day full of meals to honor local veterans.

On Nov. 14, the post will host breakfast from 8 until 11 a.m. and lunch and dinner from noon until 6 p.m. All veterans will eat for free and non-veterans can also eat at the cost of $5 per meal during the day. The event is open to the public.

“We just always want to do something to give back to the heroes in our own county,” VFW Riders Public Affairs Office, Sam Johnson, said. “We look forward to seeing as many veterans as possible attend the meals and just talk with us. Many veterans have interesting stories to tell and we would like to hear them. We will also be delivering the evening meals to veterans if you cannot make it out.”
