Matt Andrews will be the guest speaker at the Fayette County Chamber of Commerce Annual Luncheon slated for Tuesday, July 31.
A 1998 Miami Trace High School graduate, Andrews is a morning update anchor for 97.1 The Fan radio station out of Columbus. He’s also a sideline reporter for Ohio State football and a play-by-play announcer for Ohio State women’s basketball and baseball.
This annual event will begin at 11:30 a.m. at The Highland House in Washington C.H.
“We are excited Matt has agreed to make this trip home to speak to our members,” said Chamber president Julie Bolender. “He will be speaking on his path to success since beginning his career calling the play-by-play for local high school sports in 1994. I am certain he will also add some of his favorite sideline stories from throughout the years.”
During the luncheon, the Chamber will recognize members for achievements in the following categories: Large Business of the Year, Small Business of the Year, Non-Profit Organization of the Year, and Business Person of the Year.
