Court House Quilters hold annual show

The Courthouse Quilters held their sixth annual show at Southern State May 15 through 17.

Beth Starkey-Hill from Circleville judged entries prior to the show’s opening. This year’s awards were presented in the following categories:

Best large hand-quilted quilt – Jodie Tarbill.

Best large machine-quilted quilt – Bonnie Creamer.

Best antique quilt – Jeanne Shafer.

Best small hand-quilted quilt – Jerri Anderson.

Best small machine-quilted quilt and Viewer’s Choice winner – Bonnie Creamer.

Best miscellaneous item – Jerri Anderson.

Judge’s Choice winner – Jerri Anderson.

Bonnie Newman from Batavia won the 2015 raffle quilt.

The Courthouse Quilters thank those who attended the quilt show and those who purchased raffle tickets as well as the silent auction tablerunners. The generosity enabled the guild to make donations to the Fayette County Food Pantry and to My Sister’s House.
