According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

May 6

Possession of Drugs/Possession of Drug Abuse Instruments/Possession of Drug Paraphernalia: At 1:06 p.m., officers responding to Walmart on a call of a female believed to be under the influence of drugs found Carrie E. Mead to be in possession of illegal prescription medication, a syringe and a pipe. Charges were filed.

Assault: At 7:46 p.m., a woman reported being assaulted by Patricia L. Brown.

Disorderly Conduct/Resisting Arrest: At 12:47 a.m., officers were called to the area of Kohler Drive in reference to a loud music complaint. Upon arrival, contact was made with a male, identified as Jerry A. Bruce, who was advised of the complaint and immediately became verbally abusive and aggressive toward officers and neighbors. He was advised to cease his actions but failed to do so. Bruce was arrested and during his arrest, he attempted to resist and struggle with officers. Bruce was taken into custody and charged with the listed offenses.

May 5

Possession of Drug Abuse Instruments/Possession of Drug Paraphernalia: At 2:06 a.m. while patrolling The Blue Stone Inn on reported drug activity, officers had contact with several person(s) in a room where drug paraphernalia and drug abuse instruments were observed in plain view. Mercedes D. Williams, James A. Saxour, Zachariah L. Saxour and Laura A. Queen were arrested for the listed offenses.

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia: At 11:18 a.m., officers were dispatched to check a complaint of a suspicious vehicle in the 700 block of Aspen Drive. Upon arrival, contact was made with a male, identified as Anthony S. Crawford. During contact with Crawford, he was found in possession of drug paraphernalia and was arrested for the offense.

Criminal Trespass: At 6:25 p.m., an employee of Walmart reported that a known female was inside the store and that she had previously been banned from the business. The female, identified as Lindsey M. Gibson-Rader, was arrested for the offense.

May 4

Theft: At 5:38 p.m., an employee of Walmart reported that a female went through the self checkout line with merchandise. All items were not scanned and/or paid for. The female then attempted to depart the store with all the items. the female, identified as Sarah B. Schwalbauch, was arrested for the listed offense.

Drug Abuse/Possession of Drug Paraphernalia: At 9:50 p.m. during a routine traffic stop, an occupant in the vehicle was found in possession of drug paraphernalia and illegal drugs. The occupant, identified as Jesse Lee Johnson, was arrested for the listed offenses.

May 3

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia: At 10:14 a.m., officers were called to the Blue Stone Inn to assist adult probation with a male who had a warrant for his arrest. During the male’s arrest, he was found in possession of drug paraphernalia, and a female who rented the room was also found with drug paraphernalia. Austin S. Kinzer and Emily R. Hakes were both arrested for the listed offense.

Assault: At 4:56 p.m., officers began investigating a reported assault at Long John Silver’s that occurred between several employees.

Theft: At 5:29 p.m., an employee of Walmart reported that a female selected merchandise and departed the store without paying for the items. The female, identified as Kelly J. Gault, was arrested for the listed offense.
