COLUMBUS— State Senator Bob Peterson (R-Washington Court House) joined Senate President Larry Obhof (R-Medina) and other lawmakers recently to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Fair Housing Act.

In a continued effort to draw attention to the continuing issues of housing insecurity, the Senators took turns driving nails to help frame a Habitat for Humanity home on the grounds of the Ohio Statehouse. Upon completion of the project, there was a ceremony to welcome the receiving family to their new home.
