According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

April 14

Criminal Damaging: At 12:39 a.m., Karen Stewart reported that unknown person(s) broke the rear driver side window on her 2003 Hyundai.

April 13

Breaking & Entering: At 9:55 a.m., police began investigating a breaking and entering theft that occurred at Hong Kong Buffet.

Theft: At 2:32 p.m., an employee of CVS Pharmacy reported that two females removed merchandise from the store without paying for the items.

Theft: At 5:38 p.m., an employee of CVS Pharmacy reported that a female removed merchandise from its package and departed the store without paying for the items. Rita A. Shiltz was charged with the listed offense.

Domestic Violence/Resist Arrest/Misuse of 911 System: At 9:46 p.m., officers responded to a 911 call at an address on South North Street. Upon arrival and after investigation, it was found that no true emergency existed and the male caller, while in the presence of officers, made threats of physical harm to a family or household member. The male, identified as Kevin L. Cotner, was arrested for the listed offenses.

April 12

Theft: At 12:59 p.m., Fabrienna Henry reported that unknown person(s) filled and picked up her prescription medication from Fayette Pharmacy without her knowledge or permission.

Criminal Damaging: At 6:10 p.m., Katherine Anthony reported that unknown person(s) damaged the rear door to her residence in what appeared to be an attempt to gain entry.

April 11

Theft: At 4:18 p.m., James Kemp reported that unknown person(s) removed prescription medication from his residence.

April 10

Theft: At 10:45 a.m., an employee of Court House Rent-All reported that a known person rented equipment and has failed to make any payments per the rental agreement.

Theft: At 3:28 p.m., Dawn Pence reported that unknown person(s) entered her vehicle and removed prescription medication and other miscellaneous items.

Assault: At 7:46 p.m., Brooklyn Leach reported that a known female physically assaulted her while sitting in a vehicle near Hibbett Sports.
