On June 7, the annual Anniversary Cruise-in of the Dragin’ Angels was held at the Fayette County Fairgrounds.

Hamburgers, hot dogs, chips and pop were donated by various Fayette County businesses. Stump Davey made two of his special trophies to give in memory of Herb Stolsenberg. One was given to Herb’s wife, Mary Stolsenberg, and the other was awarded to a favorite antique car of the show belonging to Harvey Everhart.

A highlight and custom of the cruise-in the last several years ends with many of the antique cars and trucks visiting the local nursing homes so the residents can see and enjoy.

They awarded 10 scholarships to deserving senior graduates, all of them on their way to their first year of college. Three scholarships went to Washington City Schools, four to Miami Trace, and three to Fayette Christian School. Dragin’ Angels wish these graduates good luck in the future and success in life.
