According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

March 19

Criminal Damaging: At 9:02 p.m., Belinda Kennedy, of 1017 Briar Ave., reported that someone damaged the rear door of her home.

March 18

Burglary/Breaking & Entering: At 7:07 p.m., Deborah Fitzpatrick reported that sometime during the past week, someone broke into 832 E. Temple St. and removed several items from inside the home.

March 14

Theft: At 5:55 p.m., Courtney Hooks reported that unknown person(s) entered her mother’s vehicle and removed property.

March 13

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia: At 11:23 a.m., officers responded to the area of Cashland on a report of a male who was there trying to pawn stolen items and he was possibly operating a vehicle without the owner’s permission. Officers located the male, identified as Troy O. Richards, and during the contact he was found in possession of drug paraphernalia. Richards was charged with the listed offense and the items were returned to the owner.

Criminal Damaging: At 2:29 p.m., Justin Jenkins reported that unknown person(s) damaged a tire on his vehicle and also damaged a tire on a neighbor’s vehicle by placing metal screws in the driveway.

March 12

Receiving Stolen Property: At 9:32 a.m., officers responding to the Huntington Bank on Washington Avenue on a call of a possible forged check found William R.A. Gregg to be in possession of a stolen check. Charges were filed.

Larceny: At 6:20 p.m., Trinity Huff reported that while swimming at Court House Fitness, someone entered her locker and removed her ring and necklace.
