According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

Nov. 26

Criminal Damaging: Sheldon Hurles reported that unknown person(s) threw eggs at his 2005 Cadillac during the overnight hours, which resulted in minor paint damage to the vehicle.

Drugs: Officers made contact with Christian Ruth during a traffic stop after receiving a complaint that he had suffered a change in mental status. During the stop, Ruth was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia. He was subsequently arrested and charged with the offense.

Nov. 25

Criminal Damaging: At 8:56 a.m., Mindy Smith reported that sometime overnight, unknown person(s) spray painted two vehicles parked at her residence.

Criminal Damaging: At 3:15 p.m., Eileen Smith reported that sometime overnight, unknown person(s) spray painted two vehicles parked on the street near her residence.

Nov. 22

Theft: At 3:50 p.m., Jerry Sharp reported that sometime overnight, unknown person(s) entered his vehicle and removed property.

Theft: At 7:45 p.m., an employee of Kroger reported that a male selected merchandise and departed the store without paying for the items. The male, identified as Edward A. Ellars, was located and arrested for the listed offense.

Nov. 20

Larceny: At 10:37 a.m., the manager of Home Depot reported that Valerie Fath, an employee, had been stealing money from the store since Aug. 17. Charges were filed.

Larceny: At 11 p.m., the manager of United Dairy Farmers reported April Hawkins stole a bottle of body wash from the store. Officers located April Hawkins and found her to be in possession of the stolen merchandise. Charges were filed.
