According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

Nov. 19

Obstructing Official Business: At 4:55 p.m., officers responding to a suspicious person call located Martin Hoagland, who fled the area at the sight of the officers. Hoagland was apprehended, during which time he also resisted arrest. Charges were filed.

Assault on an Officer: At 7:19 p.m., Patrolman Heinz of the Washington Police Department was kicked in the chest by William A. Wilson while assisting Fayette County Sheriff’s deputies at the Fayette County Memorial Hospital. Charges were filed.

Vehicle Trespass: At 8:14 p.m., Henry Onions reported that Derek Myers jumped onto the hood of his vehicle in order to see who else was in the vehicle with him. Charges were filed.

Nov. 18

Theft: At 12:37 p.m., an employee of Kroger reported a male was observed removing merchandise from its packaging and concealing the items on his person. The male, identified as Joseph A. Vandyke, was arrested for the listed offense.

Possession of Drug Abuse Instruments: At 3:35 p.m. during a traffic stop, the occupants of the vehicle were found to be in possession of drug abuse instruments. Joshua O. Stump and Katie E. Ford-Delay were charged with the listed offense.

Obstructing Official Business: At 10:11 p.m. during a traffic stop, an occupant of the vehicle gave false information to the officer in an attempt to hide his identity. Officers were able to determine his true identity as Jeremiah R. Hall, who was charged with the listed offense.

Nov. 15

Violating Protection Order: At 6:37 p.m. while checking a complaint of a protection order violation at a residence in the 1100 block of South Hinde Street, officers located a male identified as Troy A. Estep inside the residence with the female who held the protection order, which is a violation. Estep was arrested for the listed offense.
