Twelve tons of delicious candy was delivered Thursday to the Good Hope Lions Candy Store, located at 333 W. Court St. in Washington C.H.
The highly-anticipated opening will take place on Wednesday, Nov. 15. From there, the store will be open Monday-Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Sundays from 1-5 p.m. until Christmas Eve.
Sugar-free candies are also available.
Also, the Good Hope Lions are holding their semi-annual Pancake & Sausage Fundraiser this Saturday at Wayne Hall in Good Hope. Serving will take place from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The cost is $6 for adults and $3 for children. Bulk sausage will be on sale.
Good Hope Lion Jeff Fetters helped stock the shelves of the Good Hope Lions Candy Store on Thursday. The store will open for business on Wednesday, Nov. 15.
